诺曼里奇，美国布朗大学历史学荣休教授，历史学家，国际关系专家。1949年在加州大学伯克利分校获得历史学博士学位，曾先后任教于布林茅尔学院、密歇根州立大学和布朗大学，并协助指导布朗大学的国际关系研究项目。主要著作有《民族主义与变革时代》、《希特勒的战争目的》第一卷《意识形态、纳粹国家和扩张过程》与第二卷《新秩序的建立》、《为什么会爆发克里米亚战争：一个发人警醒的故事》等，同时是多卷本《德国对外政策文件》的编者之一。
